Last week I posted a new project start: Heart of Christmas by Stoney Creek. Here are a few progress pics. The section I’ve done so far is lots of confetti stitches of various colors (I’ll be glad to get into some nice blocks of color). But it’s coming together nicely. You can see the poinsettias with their surrounding greenery, and the teensiest bit of the red bow starting to emerge.

First stitches. I stitched the poinsettias first to have an easy reference when I started the greenery.
Wow it’s coming together beautifully

You are off to a great start! Lots of confetti stitching. I hope you can get through it fast and get onto some solid stitching. But then again, Stoney Creek is known for the multiple color changes to achieve that fantastic shading. I know it will be beautiful. Keep on stitching 🙂

Thanks! I’m also not above jumping around if I get bored with a section. 🙂

Thanks, Kim! Your lovely work has definitely been one of my inspirations in wanting to learn freestyle embroidery and once I do, several of your patterns are on my wish list. I have a hand embroidery sampler I’m working on, but definitely nothing ready to share with the world yet LOL 🙂
